Terike Haapoja visual artist based in Helsinki, Finland. Her work consists of videos, installations and stage projects, characterized by the use of new media and scientific technologies. The tension between our subjective experience of the world and objective knowledge of it is in the core of Haapoja’s studies on technology, nature and time. Haapoja has a master’s degree from Theatre Academy of Finland (dep. of Performance art and-theory) and Academy of Fine Arts in Finland, where she is currently working on her artistic research PhD. Haapoja is represented by Gallery Kalhama&Piippo Contemporary, Helsinki.
